Make it Happen

Deciding to study in Australia is the start of your lifelong journey.  It will broaden your horizon, it will enable you to know more about yourself, it will give you confidence, it will make you grow, it will equip you.  It will bring you a step closer to your goal, a step closer to doors that can open many life opportunities for you.  After setting your sights on what to study, the next things you need to consider are where in Australia to study and what education provider to enrol to.

In choosing where to study, it’s quite understandable that your choice may be influenced by factors such as existence of family, friends and compatriots in a particular Australian state or city, your own research and opinion of where you think is the best place for you (or your child) to study, the location of the institution you’re targeting, geography/climate, or plain and simple personal preference.

For example, if you wish to study English and you have friends in Perth you might gravitate towards studying English in Perth.  If you have a child who wish to attend secondary school in Australia and you think Adelaide is just about the right city for them to do so you’ll lean towards enrolling them in Adelaide.  Or if you wish to study to become a pilot and you’re aware of a sizeable population of your countrymen living in Sydney, you will naturally favour going to an aviation school in Sydney.  Melbourne has great medical schools and if you have always wanted to study medicine in The University of Melbourne your mind will be set to no other place than Melbourne, or if you’re coming from a very cold place and desire to enjoy glorious sunny days while you study you cannot be faulted for thinking about Queensland.  Lastly, if you prefer a bit of tranquillity and being out of the way while still having modern conveniences and technology at your fingertips while you pursue your studies, you’ll be right in thinking of Tasmania.

The good news is whatever course of study you wish to pursue—whether you wish to learn English language for personal, academic, career or business purpose, or you wish for your child to attend primary or secondary school, or gain for yourself workplace-ready skills and proficiency, or pursue world-class higher education—you can do it in any Australian state or territory.
